We partnered with New York start-up firm Pinner Creek Group LLC to make activity tracking wristbands simple, sociable and affordable! Pinner Creek developed Movo technology to track what really matters - a user's steps, distance travelled, and calories burned. With that in mind, Nextofkin tackled the design challenge with a strong emphasis on comfort, lifestyle, social engagement and universal appeal.
The complexity of the device is hidden within a soft outerskin, sculpted to emphasize its slender profile and draw attention to the simple controls on the top surface. Designed to fit both active and passive lifestyles, the simple utility look advocates change in the way people think about wearable devices.
The wristbands reflect the mood and personality of the users. Designed with fashion in mind, the outer bands are designed to be replaceable so that users can swap out different colours to match their outfits.
With the promise of daily wearing comfort, less is more! Instead of choosing to go with the usual buckle and adjustable straps, we developed four different sizes to be consistent with our intent of seamless utility. Choose the one size that matches you!
Building on Pinner Creek’s online sales strategy, we designed the packaging of Movo Wave in the consistent spirit of seamless utility. Keeping the brand as the main focus of the box, we developed a discreet look and feel with a satin shin to match the light and dark coloured devices available.
